유 헤브 노 마더는 박찬욱의 친절한 금자씨에서 금자씨의 딸이 하늘을 바라볼 때 맞닥뜨리는 문구이며 구름이 you have no mother 모양으로 변한다. 세 명의 여자는 가족이다. 혈연은 아니고 요즘 말하는 '대안 가족' 에 가깝다. 나는 가족이란 공간과 농담을 공유하는 관계라고 생각했고, 그래서 혈연이 아님에도 가족을 꾸리는 사람들을 보면 너무 부러웠다. 그런 부러움에서 만들게 된 영상이다. 이 셋은 엄마도 아빠도 자식도 아니다. 하지만 '엄마이자 아내이자 남자' 이기도 하다. 세 명은 귀엽다. 귀엽지만 끔찍한 일도 겪게 된다. 하지만 귀여움으로 공격하기도 한다.
